Qatar Airways operate their Boeing 787-8s in a two class configuration – Business and Economy.

I’ve flown aboard the Qatar Airways 787 in economy… and it’s a bit tight due to the 3-3-3 seating configuration – although for the segment length – it should be bearable.
Whilst this is the 4th destination that Qatar Airways will serve in the UK, it will face heavy competition from Emirates who have a long established outpost at Birmingham (including its own lounge), operating a three-time daily service between Birmingham and Dubai.
There is also plenty of competition from European legacy carriers including Air France, KLM and Lufthansa.
None the less, its another oneworld airline at Birmingham Airport, whilst British Airways continues to ignore the regions…
