News out of the Dubai Air Show has been… slow… to say the least with very few major orders announced in the past two days.
The biggest order announced so far comes from Boeing who has gained an order for up to 75 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft

The order for the aircraft will be the for the 737 MAX 8 – with the airline converting 25 737 NextGen orders into MAX series aircraft, with options and purchase rights for an additional 50 aircraft.
No delivery dates have been announced for these aircraft.
Jet Airways currently operate a number of Boeing 737 Next Gen family – split between the -700 (5), -800 (64), 900 (2) and -900ER (4).
It’ll be interesting to see if Jet Airways take on the full 75 aircraft as time goes on – but it’s also a sign new fleets are still in vogue.
Even if not many airlines have got out their cheque-books so far this years Dubai Air Show.
