Data: Air Berlin.

For those who travel to between Düsseldorf and New York JFK, Air Berlin will move to a twice daily operation, whilst the Düsseldorf to Los Angeles service moves to a daily service.

This is an ambitious move by Air Berlin to expand the way it is – and on long haul routes too. By avoiding the pain that is its base at Berlin Tegel Airport and using Düsseldorf, it can run services to its hearts content and connect its passengers to its European network with ease.

These could also make very interesting redemptions too. When these go live in the Air Berlin booking system, there could be some bargains to be had.
