It seems Norwegian Air Shuttles appetite for growth is insatiable, with the airline to open a UK subsidiary.

The subsidiary – Norwegian UK has gained its own United Kingdom Operators Licence, which allows it access to bilateral traffic rights from the United Kingdom to new destinations in Asia, South America and South Africa.
No actual destinations have been announced as yet for the new Norwegian UK subsidiary.
Operations for Norwegian UK will commence in early 2016, with their base at London Gatwick Airport. Meanwhile, the airline will continue to work at its other airports it operates to in the United Kingdom – including Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh.
It goes without saying that Norwegian UK is planning a major expansion, with the parents company order for more Boeing 787 Dreamliners due to join the fleet as well as Boeing 737 MAXs (which the airline intends to use for long haul as well as short haul services).
None the less, expect the red nose-cone of Norweigan to pop up at more UK airports and destinations in the near future.
