Brussels: Public Transport affected during terror alert

22/11/2015 by Kevincm

I’m sure you’re all aware that public transport in Brussels (Metro primarily) has been affected due to an increase in terror alert in the city (with the city remaining at the highest level of terror alert).

However, other public transport services are affected.

Inside Brussels, the Metro/PreMetro will continued to be closed through Monday, with all underground services suspended. Bus services continue to operate.

NMBS/SNCB (regional and national train services) are currently reporting no changes in service at this time

Brussels Airport itself remains open, with an increased alert in security – will all services operating “as normal”.

Alert level 3 maintained at #brusselsairport. Increased vigilance still applied but the airport is operational & flights are not impacted.
