The main daily service (UA999/998) will continue to operate with a Boeing 777-200 service, whilst the additional service (UA44/UA45) will operate with different aircraft on different dates.

UA044/UA045 will operate between the 5th May 2016 and 28th October 2016 with the following equipment.

  • 5th May 2016 to 24th May 2016 – Boeing 757-200
  • 25th May 2016 to 6th September 2016 – Boeing 767-300ER
  • 6th September 2016 to 28th October – Boeing 757-200

The combined timetable looks a bit like this:

Newark to Brussels-National
UA999 DEPART EWR 18:20 ARRIVE BRU 07:45+1 Boeing 777-200
UA044 DEPART EWR 21:50 ARRIVE BRU 11:30+1 VARIES. CHECK DATE

Brussels National to Newark
UA998 DEPART BRU 11:00 ARRIVE EWR 13:10 Boeing 777-200
UA045 DEPART BRU 13:30 ARRIVE EWR 16:05 VARIES. CHECK DATE

UA999/998 continues to operate as normal throughout timetable.
UA044/045 will operate between 5th May and 28th October 2016. Equipment varies.

Additional capacity is always welcome between cities, and United is strengthening its links to Brussels. There should also be reasonable connections for those of you using Brussels Airlines to feed into United Airlines transatlantic services.

United will have the Newark-Brussels pair to itself after Jet Airways pulls out in March, whilst Delta and Brussels Airlines compete between Brussels and New York JFK.
