It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, in the dawn of an early morning is an American Airlines Boeing 737-800 being pushed back from the gate at Chicago O’Hare for its next departure somewhere in the United States of America.
American Airlines operate a fleet of 260 Boeing 737-800 aircraft, with orders for 44 more still on the books.
With the Boeing 737s going into the fleet, the reductions will felt in the MD-80 fleet – with the remainder of the MD-80 fleet to exit the fleet in 2017.
Photographers note: This picture was infinitely easier to shoot than the other 737 I shot first thing in the morning. My main adjustments were to the exposure of this image to pull the colours out… and straightening it a bit.
That I only shot about 12 Images to get this shot, and not the usual 120…
More Airplane Art next week!
