Brussels Airport is remaining shut after the attack on it on Tuesday.
Earliest predictions from the airport now put reopening back until the 29th March at the earliest.
Meanwhile, car parks are reopening to allow owners to pick up their cars, and some baggage can make its way home to its owners.
Brussels Airlines are still operating out of Liege and Antwerp as their home base isn’t available.
A list of European operations can be found at https://www.brusselsairlines.com/en-be/misc/BRUMAR22-EU-flights.aspx, whilst the list of African and North American flights can be found at https://www.brusselsairlines.com/en-be/misc/BRUMAR22-intercontinental-flights.aspx.
Other airlines are diverting as required, with most airlines still offering free ticket changes as needed.
In a lot of ways, I wish things will return to normal quickly.
However, with the pain Brussels has been through – “normal” could be something that is out of reach for some time to come.
