Its Sunday again, and it’s time for some more Airplane Art.
This week – we head over to Manchester Airport with a Ryanair Boeing 737-800 preparing to taxi out to the runway, and in the background – a Virgin Atlantic Boeing 747-400 coming into land on a wet runway.
Virgin Atlantic’s fleet is split across Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester with ten Boeing 747-400s in the Virgin Atlantic long haul fleet, supported by A330s, A340s and Boeing 787s.
Ryanair on the other hand have 338 Boeing 737-800s in their fleet (making spotting them slightly less common than carbon dioxide), with orders for 135 more 737-800s – as well as the upcoming Boeing 737 MAX 200.
More Airplane Art next week!
