Emirates are continuing their expansion of operations in the London area, with the addition of a fourth daily flight between London Gatwick and Dubai.

This brings the total operations to 10 flights a day between the London area and Dubai operated by Emirates, with 6 flights from Heathrow, 4 from Gatwick.

The forth flight will utilise a Three Class Boeing 777-300ER as flight pair EK23/24, and fits into the following schedule:

It’s interesting to seem Emirates add more feed between the London Area and Dubai – mainly as they’ve gone beyond Heathrow, and instead deployed the capacity as a Boeing 777-300ER to Gatwick.

As for the plane – Emirates will be using a Boeing 777-300ER.

This plane – whilst a method for getting from A to B – offers a poorer passenger experience than the services operated by A380s.

First Class features most of the niceties of Emirates First Class – apart from of course, the shower unit.

Business class aboard the B777-300ER offer Business Class seating in a 2-3-2 configuration, whilst economy class is 3-4-3 in both, but with a larger seat width aboard an A380

Still, if the timings meet your needs, this could be a good option to get to Dubai to get to your connecting flight.

And there’s nothing to say that Emirates will up-gage this to another A380 if this flight is packed solid each day.

Even then, Emirates offer over 5000 seats a day between London and Dubai.

That’s a LOT of bums on seats to fill.
