In what should come as no surprise to anyone, it seems that Trump Hotels have suffered a data breach… again.

According to Krebs on Security, it seems the Trump hotel chain – this is the second time this has happened in under a year – this time affecting properties in New York, Toronto and Waikiki.
Suffice to say if you’ve stayed at any of those – it’s time to review your credit cards for unwanted items on your statements.
As stated, this the second time in a year that Trump hotels have suffered data breaches – the previous breach reported in October 2015.
Suffice to say, this is unwelcome news for anyone who has stayed at a Trump Hotel recently.
It also seems to me Mr Trump had better get his backside in getting his own hotels fixed first in terms of cyber security – with the breaches in a year, it does point to poor information governance and management of information security matters.
And at this time – making sure your own house is in order is never a bad idea – especially if you’re after The White House.
Economy Class and Beyond is at Aircraft Interiors Expo 2016 this week, bringing you news and views from the floor of the show – looking at the latest in Passenger Experience hardware, Wireless Connectivity and the little things that some may be interested in.
