It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art.
This week, sitting in the morning sun and heat of Hamad International Airport in Doha is a Qatar Airways Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.
Qatar Airways has a fleet of 27 active Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners in its long haul fleet, with an additional three due to make up the cadre of 30 aircraft.
Qatar Airways configure their Boeing 787-8s with:
- 22 seats in Business class in a 1-2-1 formation
- 232 seats in Economy Class in a tight 3-3-3 formation.
You can check out my review of Qatar Airways Boeing 787 Dreamliner when I flew them last year to Tokyo Haneda in economy class (although I’ll preface it with that I was glad that plane wasn’t packed when I flew that day).
More Airplane art next week!
