It seems Cathay Pacific is now joining the crowd in offering flash sales.
Cathay Pacific Boeing 777-300ER at Hong Kong International Airport – Image, Economy Class and Beyond
Since Cathay Pacific serve both London and Manchester with direct flight to Hong Kong… and they’re on sale from both departure points. The offers are mostly in Economy or Premium Economy… but there are a couple of fares in Business Class too.
I’ve been through the Cathay Pacific offer page, and pulled together the starting prices:
Heathrow to:
Economy Class Premium Economy Business Hong Kong £369 £779 - Manila £419 £879 - Sydney £609 £1,399 - Auckland £619 £1,609 - Melbourne £2,789 Perth £609 - - Taipei £559 - - Hanoi £529 - - Shanghai £479 - - Beijing - £909 -
Manchester to:
Economy Class Premium Economy Business Hong Kong £399 Manila £459 £909 Sydney £639 £1,429 Auckland £1,639 Perth £639 Beijing £939 Shanghai £509 Taipei £559 Singapore £1,199 Phuket £419 Xiamen £2,019
You’ll need to book by 17th May, for bookings between 11th May and 7th December, subject to capacity.
These are reasonable offers for those of you want to head to Asia on the cheap. Certainly, I would like to try Cathay Pacific again in Economy Class to do the acid test of any airline – can an airline be excellent in its main economy cabin as well as in their premium cabins?
