With Cathay Pacific taking delivery of their latest aircraft – the Airbus A350-900, new routes have been announced for twin-engined aircraft.

These include operations to:
- Auckland
- Paris Charles De Gaulle
- Rome
In terms of frequencies:
- Hong Kong to Auckland will be offered once daily, operating as CX197/198 from 30th October to 30th November, CX117/118 from 1st December to 28th February 2017, then as CX197/198
- Hong Kong to Paris will be offered three times a week on CX279/278 from 31st October 2016.
- Hong Kong to Rome will be offered on a daily basis from 31st October 2016
Cathay Pacific had already announced A350 operation routes to London Gatwick and Düsseldorf – as well as regional operations as the airline adapts to the new aircraft type joining its fleet.
Cathay Pacific will operate the Airbus A350-900s as three-class aircraft, containing Business, Premium Economy and Economy Cabins.
Expect more destinations to be announced as more A350s join the Cathay Pacific fleet.
