Thai Airways A350 begins testing

06/07/2016 by Kevincm

Progress continues for Thai Airways and their Airbus A350 – which has now got some engines attached to the plane as it rolls out of hanger.

The plane has rolled out of the cabin furnishing & engine installation at the Airbus Toulouse Final Assembly Line.

The aircraft is now ready to proceed to further ground and flight testing. This first A350-900 for THAI is scheduled for delivery in the 3rd Quarter of 2016.

And looking at the plane from the outside, the livery of Thai Airways works nicely on this  plane – they’ve even got some purple on the curved winglet too which is nice to see.

As for more A350s – we’ll see next week as the madness of the Farnborough Air Show begins. Now doubt some airlines and lessors will have their chequebooks open, shopping for new airframes…
