For those of you with some Avios to spare (or are trying to save a few extra Avios), British Airways has introduced an offer allowing you to fly to certain Middle Eastern destinations with a reasonable discount.

The offer is 25% off the normal Avios price between London and the following destinations:
- Abu Dhabi
- Bahrain
- Doha
- Dubai
- Muscat
The offer is valid on redemptions in World Traveller (Economy Class), World Traveller Plus (Premium Economy) and Club World (Business Class).
The offer is valid both on peak and off-peak pricing, and looks a little like this for a World Traveller (Economy) redemption:

Bookings must be made by 7th August 2016. Travel is valid on various dates in the different classes.

As it’s a sale on reward seats, it goes without saying that redemption seats are limited in all classes. Off Peak tickets normally are available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays during August – but check the BA availability calendar, you might be able to find additional days.
There is a nasty to this offer – and unsurprisingly, the 25% discount is for the Avios component only. All taxes, fees and charges on will need to be paid for – which can add up.
None the less, this could be a good use of Avios if you need to be out in the Middle East.
