VIDEO: How does a Boeing 737 perform when it doesn’t have passengers aboard?

At Farnborough, Boeing took one of their 787s out for a aerobatics display to show off the performance of the 787.

But can you do the same with something a little smaller… say the Boeing 737?

Worry not – there is the perfect answer for this:

Boeing have taken their new 737 off to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh for the week – where it is demonstrating the new Boeing 737 MAX 8 in an airshow environment.

And as usual, there’s an amazing flight to watch. Just watch the video.

Although I love this statement at the beginning:

Boeing 737 MAX Demo flight
Flown by Boeing test pilots. Do not attempt.

It’s amazing what these planes can do in the air when there are no pesky passengers aboard them.

The Boeing 737 MAX 8 will launch with Southwest airlines in 2017. Boeing have orders 2,835 737 MAX Series aircraft – and that’s a lot of planes no matter how you weigh it up.
