So what’s new? As you can probably guess and see – the A350-1000 is a stretch of the A350-900 that is currently in service with various airlines around the word.
At 74 metres long, it’s designed to seat 366 passengers in a three-class configuration on an 8,000 mile mission (although exact seat layouts will be with the actual airlines). High capacity versions can put this t 440 passengers.
You’ll notice the plane is missing something rather important – two Rolls Royce Trent engines. These will be fitted at a later stage with Trent XWB-97 engines to power the plane.
Orders currently exist for 181 Airbus A350-1000s, spread across various operators.
Flight testing of the A350-1000 is due to commence in September.

That plane is way long! From this view, it looks like the wings are beyond the center of gravity… can’t wait to see those RR Trents on her. That’s 1 sharp looking bird!!
