If you were in Glasgow, trying to head to New Jersey and New York for the weekend yesterday, you might had been delayed for a good few hours thank to some United Airlines pilots drinking too much the night before.

According to BBC News, The two United Airlines pilots were held by police before the departure of UA162 operating Glasgow International to Newark International.
Police entered the cockpit as the flight was boarding. The pilots were breathalyzed, and found to be over the limit.
The pilots have been removed from flying duty by United Airlines.
The plane had 141 passengers aboard. Thankfully for passengers, the plane took off at 18:46 with a new crew aboard – arriving Newark at 20:32 according to FlightAware.
The pilots have been arrested, and are due to appear in court on Monday.
We all know drinking and driving is not just socially bad, but dangerous. With the low limits that are prescribed under the Railways and Transport Act 2003 (Section 93), it is a case of safety first.
