It some minor good news, the protesters have been removed from London City Airport, and the runway is now re-opened to traffic.
In a post on Twitter, the airport states:
Runway is now open, we apologise for inconvenience caused this morning. Passengers are advised to check with airline for latest flight info.

Expect delays and cancellations as aircraft re-position back to London City Airport to resume services.
