Let’s go back to the Airbus A350, and in particular, we’re going to look at Lufthansa’s first A350 which rolled out of the paint shop.

For those of you who are sharp eyed, you’ll notice the plane as a French registration (this is so the plane can be tested before gaining her proper German registration), and of course, it’s missing two big Rolls Royce Trent XWB engines which are needed to power this plane.
In the first instance, Lufthansa will be basing their A350 fleet from their Munich hub. Initial destinations include Boston and Delhi.
In terms of seating, the planes will be delivered in a three-class layout with:
- 48 Business Class seats
- 21 Premium Economy seats
- 224 Economy Class seats.
