Good morning from Digbeth Coach station in Birmingham where – to be honest – I’m nowhere near ready for this trip.
Why?
The past few weeks have been busy with me switching job, and keeping an eye on the blog as opposed to important things… like packing
As such… to say I was packing as I was leaving the flat would be… an understatement.
Nor misplacing my wallet just before I called my Uber.
I thin the song by Divine Comedy is appropriate now.
As such I’m physically amazed I’ve made it to the coach station on time.
And more importantly – actually making the coach.
So I’m off on a good adventure do a few days in Chicago.
But if you think I’m just taking the simple route to Chicago, you’re mistaken.
Very much mistaken.

Tonight we fly and Come Home Billy Bird are two other travel related DC songs I like.

Oh goodness how I miss Mrs Poppleton’s trip reports. I was hoping to find this here, alas…disappointment.

Sadly, I lack Mrs Poppletons writing style. Maybe you should try BBC4’s bus ride?
