British Airways juggles equipment around for Summer 2017

It seems that there is capacity and network adjustments ahead for those who fly British Airways.

Get comfy – there’s a lot of changes which begin on the 26th March 2017 – coinciding with the start of the Spring/Summer timetable for 2017.

China
London Heathrow to Beijing – operates daily using a Boeing 777-300ER

India
London Heathrow to Delhi – operating twice daily using Boeing 787-9
London Heathrow to Mumbai – operating twice daily with Boeing 777-200ER

Iran
London Heathrow to Tehran Imam Khomeini – operates daily using a 3-class Boeing 777-200ER

North America
London Heathrow to Chicago O’Hare – operates twice daily using Boeing 747-400
London Heathrow to Dallas-Fort Worth – operates daily using a Boeing 747-400
London Heathrow to San Diego – operates daily using a Boeing 777-300ER
London Heathrow to Seattle – operates 12 times weekly, with BA49/48 operated with a Boeing 747-400

Data: Airlineroute

It goes without saying when equipment swaps like this begin to hit, you need to be checking your forward reservations to ensure your flight is operating – and any seats that you’ve assigned have been shifted around or not (or to get a better seat in some cases).

I doubt this will be the end of the equipment swaps before the Spring/Summer timetable commences.
