It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art.
This week, taxing at Philadelphia International Airport (whilst I was stuck there), in the fading evening light is a Delta Air Lines Boeing 757-200 as it heads to its next destination.
Delta currently operate a mixed fleet of Boeing 757-200, with 89 dedicated for US domestic use, and 23 for international services. Delta also operate the larger Boeing 757-300.
The aircraft featured – N303TW has been around the houses – serving three major airlines. Initially, this aircraft operated for Trans World Airlines (TWA). This aircraft moved from TWA to American Airlines when American took over TWA in 2001.
The aircraft finally moved to Delta Air Lines in 2007, where Delta leased the aircraft from ILFC. (Side note, Airfleets provide some really great history of aircraft)
More airplane art next week!

That would be N703TW – TWA did not have an N303TW.
