It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art.
This week, sitting in the autumn sun as it prepares for its next flight is an Aer Lingus Airbus A330-200 at its home base of Dublin Airport.
EI-EWR forms part of the Air Lingus Airbus A330-200 fleet, with the airline operating four of the type on its North American network (and occasionally to Europe to provide extra seats on short-haul services).
These aircraft supplement the larger fleet of six Airbus A330-300 aircraft (with two more due to arrive in 2017).
Meanwhile, Aer Lingus will be looking towards 2018 and the introduction of the newer Airbus A350-900 joining its fleet. Nine of these aircraft will join the fleet – with intent to replace the A330 fleet.
More Airplane Art next week!
