It’s Sunday, so again – it must be time for some more airplane art.
This week, resting in the cold of an icy bone chilling morning on the tarmac is a NoRRA ATR 72-500 (Nordic Regional Airlines) as it is prepared for the short hop back to its base of Helsinki Vantaa Airport.
NoRRA – Nordic Regional Airlines – was born out of Finncomm Airlines, then FlyBe Nordic. FlyBe sold its Nordic interests back onto Finnair in 2014.
The airline operate a fleet of ATR 72-500s (all owned by Finnair) and Embraer E-190s on behalf of Finnair, connecting regional and slightly longer destinations to Helsinki.
NoRRA operates its flights primarily under the Finnair AY code, and these have a 1001 codeshares attached to them.
More Airplane Art next week!

Great to see my home airport on BoardingArea! (Not a huge fan of the ATRs, but for a flight that can take as little as 16 minutes, it’s hard to complain.)
