For those of you worried about the upcoming strike by Swissport workers…. there some minor Christmas cheer as the strike has been suspended according to BBC News.

The strike which was called for the 23rd and 24th December by the UNITE union after talks at ACAS – the conciliation service.
The possible strike over pay has lead to a new offer being made by Swissport.
Swissport handles various airlines across the UK – including Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, Newcastle, Heathrow, Stansted and Manchester airports
So one bit of Christmas pain removed at least.
However, there is the mixed fleet strike on the cards from British Airways and the Virgin Atlantic Pilots work-to-rule….
There’s still a lot of discontentment out there.
