Well it seem that something positive has happened – with UNITE and British Airways meeting and UNITE agreeing to suspend its planned Christmas Strike

Unite have been engaged in a dispute with British Airways on behalf of its Mixed Fleet crew over pay and conditions.
Unite and British Airways have been at ACAS to hammer out a deal. A new deal has been hammered out – which will need to be put to its membership.
Unite general secretary Len McCluskey states
“We now have a new offer from the company which we will put to our members. The two day strike over Christmas and Boxing Day is now suspended.”
“It will be for our members now to decide if British Airways has done enough to meet their concerns.”
All services will therefore run as booked on 25th/26th December (subject to weather cancellations).
For those who are travelling these days, it will come as a relief… and one less travel stress you don’t need at this time of year.
Just don’t rely on using Heathrow Express or Heathrow Connect when going to Heathrow Airport from Christmas Eve onwards
