If you’re planning to take Heathrow Express or Heathrow Connect to London (or to Heathrow), there’s bad news as it is now shut for the duration of the Christmas period
Heathrow Express departing Heathrow Central (and you won’t be able to catch one until the 29th December- Image, Economy Class and Beyond.
As such, there is no service between Paddington and Heathrow between the 24th December and 29th December.
If you’re travelling today, allow extra time if you are taking the Piccadilly line.
If you’re travelling Christmas day, either use National Express, Uber, or a Taxi – but be prepared to pay if you’re using private hire cars.
If you’re travelling Boxing Day (26th December), there is a limited service on the Piccadilly Line. Private hire vehicles will still be charging the earth.
On the 27th and 28th December, there will be Piccadilly Line services between London and Heathrow, but these will be limited due to a shortage of trains.
Inter-terminal transfers will operate.

If you trip involves Heathrow over the next few days, please allow extra time for your journey as you will be delayed.
