Eurostar updates its Business Premier Paris Lounge

07/02/2017 by Kevincm

Eurostar – the train company operating between London, Paris and Brussels has been busy, with the refurbishment of its lounge at Paris Gare du Nord station

Let’s look at the pictures….

The new Business Premier lounge formally opened on Saturday, set inside the top floor of Gare du Nord station.

The refurbishment lead by Softroom brings a very contemporary feel – yet a bit like a Parisien apartment.

The lounge is located on the top floor of the original 19th-century building, featuring high ceilings, marble fireplaces, a cocktail bar and spaces to relax in.

For the connected traveller – there’s good news with complimentary Wi-fi, USB sockets and wireless chargers allowing you to work, meet and conduct business whilst waiting for your train.

For those travelling aboard the trains, complimentary Wi-fi is offered aboard the newest Eurostar trains – look out for services operated by Eurostar Class 374 trains.

For those looking to relax after a busy day in Paris, there’s a new cocktail bar for to unwind at. There will also be food options in the lounge serving breakfast, lunch and dinner snacks.

Eurostar (as I’ve proved) is a more than capable way of crossing the channel in a time efficient manner, providing centre to centre travel – which considering the time spent getting to airports, clearing security, waiting for departure, flying (the short bit), exiting the airport and getting to the centre – makes Eurostar competitive on the London – Paris/London – Brussels routes.

You can find my review of Eurostar here.

For those travelling Business Premier and who have a few extra minutes when travelling, I’m sure these new amenities will be met warmly.
