As Airbus A350 deliveries ramp up, more airlines will be queuing up to get their brand new aircraft.
In the queue to get their new A350 is Asiana Airlines – whose first painted A350 broke cover today as revealed by the airline in a tweet

The first plane has been fitted with its engines, and looks ready to enter flight testing.
Asiana will be deploying its A350 on various routes including:
- Osaka – 15th May – 13th August, then 29th September 2017 onwards
- Manila – 15th May – 13th August, then 29th September 2017 onwards
- Beijing – 28th July – 13th August
- Singapore – 28th July – 13th August
- Shanghai – 14th August – 28th October
- San Francisco – 14th August – 28th October (with the daily service going through)
The A350s will be configured in a two and a half-class configuration
- 28 Business Class “Business Smartium” seats in a 1-2-1 formation
- 36 “Economy Smartiun” extra space economy seats in a 3-3-3 formation
- 247 Economy Seats in a 3-3-3 formation
Of course – there has to be a winglet shot when taking a picture of an A350… and I’m not one to buck that trend – least of all, it’s a pretty winglet.

With an entry into service in May, expect to see this plane in the sky a lot sooner, rather than later.
