It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art.
This week, taxing on a rather wet August day is a specially painted A320 – The Aer Lingus Green Spirit Airbus A320, featuring members of the Irish Rugby Team on it.
Aer Lingus operate 34 Airbus A320 aircraft, which form the backbone of the airline’s short-haul fleet. The airline also operates three of the larger A321 aircraft. All are configured in a single-class cabin configuration.
The airline also utilises Airbus A330 and Boeing 757 aircraft in its long haul fleet.
Two of the A320 fleet are painted in the Green Spirit livery – promoting the tie up with the Irish Rugby Football Union, with Aer Lingus being the official carrier.
More airplane art next week!
