Ryanair is at it again, with one of its more cheekier campaigns to mark the day the United Kingdom executed Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty – its formal intention to leave the European Union.
How do you mark an occasion like this? A fare sale of course.

Well Brexit means Brexit according to Teresa May – and we’re slowly getting the picture what it’s going to be. Sadly, I haven’t got a picture of a screw being inserted into an orifice of the human body…
So if you’re feeling a bit of leaving regret, Ryanair has started an Article 50 sale – with fares starting from usual £9.99 for travel in April and May.
If you want to take advantage of this sale, you’ve got until the end of Thursday to do it – but as this is Ryanair, I’m sure there will be another sale soon enough
Booking as usual is via Ryanair.com
For those who are a bit disaffected after today, and want to try an spend some money in Europe… there are worse ways to spend £9.99 each way.

Is there a significance to the 9.99 price insomuch as being related to Brexit or Article 50?
