It’s Sunday again, so must be time for some more airplane art.
This week, taxing out from Terminal 2 and heading for the runway at London Heathrow Airport is an Austrian Airlines Airbus A321 as it prepares for the trip to Vienna.
Austrian Airlines (part of Lufthansa Group), operate a fleet of six A321 aircraft – split with a mixture of three A321-100s and three A321-200 plames.
These aircraft hold around 200 people each, and are used on trunk routes from Austrian’s hub at Vienna International Airport.
Austrian Airlines also operate the smaller Airbus A319s and Airbus A320s in their short to medium haul route network. The airline is in the process of adding Embraer E-195s (obtained from Lufthansa CityLine) to its fleet too.
More Airplane Art next week!
