I’m sure you’re all aware of the incident in Manchester last night that claimed the lives of 22 people and injured 59 people.
However, the Mancunian spirit lives on as the city is open for business… as it always has done.
However, there is some disruption in the city.
Transport for Greater Manchester reports that Bus, Road, Metro Rail are all affected.
Network Rail report Manchester Victoria will remain closed through the day, affecting TransPennine Express, Northern and Manchester Metrolink services, with disruption expected on the lines going into Manchester Victoria. Manchester Piccadilly remains open, with some services diverted there.
Manchester Airport is operating normally, with services operating normally.
Manchester will prevail – it has done in the past, and will continue to do so this time.
I think James Corden summed it up perfectly on his show last night..
