It’s going be a LOT longer to get out of London.
And don’t bother heading to the web site…
If you’re taking advantage of the Bank Holiday Weekend, or the Half-Term week, and flying British Airways, you probably are aware the airline is having IT issues.

The airline states:
We apologise for the current IT systems outage. We are working to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.

Heathrow Airport states:
We’re working with @British_Airways following an issue with their IT system this morning that has caused some delays for passengers. 1/2
— Heathrow Airport (@HeathrowAirport) May 27, 2017
We advise passengers to check the status of their flight prior to travelling to the airport today. 2/2

As it seems to be a global outage, there’s not a lot to be done, other than getting systems back on-line and clearing the delays.
For any event like this, please don’t take your anger out on the front-line staff who are trying to get you going today – they’re probably just as much in the dark as everyone else.
And I hope if you’re travelling today, I hope the systems issues are resolved soon.
