It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art.
This week taxing at Chicago O’Hare International Airport is an American Airlines Boeing 767-300ER with Winglets as it prepares to head off for a long haul destination.
American Airlines operate a fleet of 31 Boeing 767-300ER aircraft, used on a mixture of operations – both Transcontinental, Transatlantic and South American services.
Eagle eye rears will notice something off about N350AN – the winglet doesn’t look.,. right. If we zoom in, we’ll find… a mismatched winglet in the classic AA livery.
Sometimes you can paint a fleet up, but sometimes you just need to fit a part to make the plane flyable… and sometimes, that part has the old paintwork on it 😉
More Airplane Art next week!
