06/08/2017 by Kevincm

It's Sunday, so it must be time for some more airplane art.

This week, taxing to the gate at its home base of Dublin Airport is a CityJet Sukhoi SuperJet 100 as it completes a journey.

CityJet currently operate six Sukhoi SuperJet 100's in its fleet – which are being used to replace the existing Avro RJ85/BAe146-200 aircraft on short haul routes. The airline has an additional nine Superjet aircraft on order, with options for 16 more frames.

The SuperJet aircraft can handle 98 passengers, configured in an all economy set up, and presented in a 3-2 seat layout.

Four of the CityJet Sukhoi SuperJet 100 the fleet are currently leased to Brussels Airlines for use on short-haul routes in Europe.
