It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art.
Resting at the gate on a warm Doha morning (and trust me – it was warm when I went to the shuttle bus), is a Qatar Airways Airbus A380 at Hamad International Airport.
Qatar Airways operate a fleet of eight Airbus A380 aircraft, which fly in a three class layout, set out as
- 8 First Suites (Top Deck)
- 48 Business Class seats (Top Deck)
- 461 Economy Class seats (56 Top Deck, Remainder on the bottom)
(Although if was to take a jib at His Excellency Akbar Al Baker, that back cabin on the top deck would make a great premium economy cabin… just saying…)
Qatar Airways uses the A380 on limited deployments on its long haul fleet, connecting Doha to the world.
