It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art.
Resting after a storm at Kuala Lumpur International Airport is a Cathay Dragon Airbus A330-300 (with a Thai Smile Airbus A320 hiding behind it).
Cathay Dragon (the regional arm of Cathay Pacific) operate a fleet of 24 Airbus A330-300 aircraft, operating routes out of Hong Kong.
This aircraft (B-LBH) is a three-year old example of an Airbus A330-300, which according to Airfleets is registered to Cathay Pacific. This would indicate that this aircraft has switched fleets to Cathay Dragon to support its growth.
Even though this plane has been transferred from Cathay Pacific, it has the highest seat count of the Cathay Dragon fleet – configured with 24 business class seat and 293 economy class seats – a total of 317 aboard this A330-300.
