It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art.
This week, we have a South African Airways Airbus A330-200 on tow at London Heathrow Airport, as it is towed away from the Central Terminal Area to the maintenance areas, in preparation for its return journey
South African Airways operate a fleet of 11 Airbus A330s, split between 6 A330-200s (the range optimised version and 5 A330-300s (the payload optimise version.
These A330s are supported by 17 Airbus A340 aircraft l, split between the A340-300 (8 aircraft ) and the A340-600 (9 aircraft).
Together, they form the backbone of South African Airlines long haul fleet, connecting out of its long haul hub of O. R. Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg
More airplane art next week!
