Time for another snapshot as we journey into the wonders of travel – this time looking at British Airways 1385 on a UK Domestic service between Manchester and London.
Boarding
Boarding was from Gate 143 at Manchester Airport. Priority boarding was enforced.
The Plane
It’s a British Airways Airbus A320, in a Eurobusiness two-class setup (Middle seat free with a cocktail table installed) Five rows of Club Europe was set up, and the rest of the plane as EuroTraveller/UK Domestic seating in a 3-3 formation
The Seat.
The B/E Pinnacle Seat. I’yve covered this multiple times before, but can we have a better economy seat sometime please British Airways (although BA will be using a ultra light-ultra slimine seat that is some cop soon…). At least I was in the exit row….
IFE
The map was on display. No power at seat (such as 110v or USB Power).
WiFi
None.
Food and Drink
Provisioned as a Buy on Board service. I remember when you had a Bacon roll on the morning shuttles in Economy sigh….
Crew
To put it bluntly amazing. Friendly and engaging. It’s great to see a crew clicking together to deliver a great service (and even one crew member got a well done too)
