It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art.
This week on final approach to Chicago O’Hare is an All Nippon Airways Boeing 777-300ER, painted up in the style of the Star Wars droid BB-8 – celebrating ANA’s partnership with the Star Wars franchise.
ANA operate a fleet of 22 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, operating across the ANA network from Toyko Narita and Haneda to the world.
These aircraft are supported by Boeing 777-300s, Boeing 777-200ERs, Boeing 787-8 and Boeing 787-9 on ANA’s long haul network, as well as the numerous aircraft operated domesticity within Japan.
ANA also operate three other Star Wars themed planes:
- An R2-D2 Boeing 787-9
- A C3-PO Boeing 777-200
- A Star Wars banded 767-300
