It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art.
This week resting between flights is a Singapore Airlines Airbus A330-300 at its home base of Singapore Changi Airport.
Singapore Airlines operate a fleet of 22 Airbus A330-300s in its fleet, used on regional and medium haul services from the airlines hub at Changi Airport.
They provide 30 business class seats and 255 economy class seats – a total of 285.
The fleet was introduced in 2009, and has providing the airline support as it withdrew older Boeing 777 aircraft from its medium haul fleet.
The future of the A330-300 fleet is short however, as the airline seeks to replace the type with a “regional” Airbus A350-900 which will be in place by 2019.
More Airplane art next week!
