Thai Airways are known for many things. Apart from being as smooth as silk, some interesting fleet sizes and products, they also love to chop and change aircraft equipment around.
And it seems they can’t keep their hands off the Heathrow route, with airline to introduce Boeing 777-300ER’s on the route to replace Airbus A350 introduced on the route last year.

It’s worth checking your seat assignments if you’re on TG916/917, as there may be a chance your seat selection is no longer valid. The Airbus A380 service between Bangkok and London (TG911/TG910) retain A380 service is retained as-is.
