The first A350 is due to be delivered to Iberia in June/July timeframe.
The planes will be equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, and improved IFE system with High Definition screens as well as the standard features of a higher ceiling and better climate control. Business Class will also feature 18″ monitors for IFE, 58cm wide seats, a wider footrest and more storage space.
Iberia has also confirmed the A320neo fleet is coming to be used on short to medium haul routes. And before everyone shouts at me, yes – these will have the Recaro SL3510 seat installed in them (the seat that is “pre-reclined”

Whilst again some won’t be happy this seat is going in, it’s going to be in the details how this seat will be built and configured (and if it follows the IAG template so far set, expect it to have USB Power in the seat).
It’s welcoming to see Iberia is ready to plan for the future of its newest aircraft – and as most of you know – the A350 is a good plane… providing it isn’t ruined too much by accountants.
Until the full reveal of the interiors and seats… we’ll be speculating how they look…

I Presume these are replacing the A340’s and not the 330’s? Booking flights to NY in September and I know it is very speculative but would be nice to try the new A350. Thanks
Tanner Ford says
Yes, the A350’s are intended to replace Iberia’s older A340-600’s. The A330’s will also replace some A340’s.

We should tell Iberia that A350s have a feature called “air conditioning”. They seem to be unaware that it’s available on their current fleet.
Jon says
Can you let CX know about that too?

How original of them to choose NYC.
