It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art.
This week, taxing towards a runway as it begins the long trip back to Madrid is an Iberia Airbus A340-600 taxing at Chicago O’Hare International Airport.
Iberia operate a fleet of 17 Airbus A340-600 aircraft in its fleet, providing long haul connectivity for its network.
Iberia primarily operates Airbus long haul aircraft in its long haul fleet. The A340-600s are is supported by the twin-engined cousins Airbus A330-200 and A330-300.
The airline is in line to receive the Airbus A350-900 aircraft, which will allow the older A340-600s to be removed from its fleet
This A340-600 – EC-JPU – is named Pio Baroja, and flies across Iberia’s long haul network
