For those looking forward to flying the newest variant of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner – the 787-10, the launch carrier – Singapore Airlines – has outlined the first routes the plane will be flying on.

The routes announced include:
- Singapore – Bangkok operating flight pair SQ970/973 between 3rd April and 2nd May 2018
- Singapore – Kuala Lumpur operating flight pair SQ118/S119 between 3rd April and 31st May 2018
- Singapore – Osaka Kansai operating flight pair SQ618/619 from the 3rd May 2018 onwards (with no end-date set)
It would seem the Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur routes are being used for crew training and so they can build up operational hours aboard the type.

A cursory check indicates the flights are available for sale aboard the 787.
Singapore to Bangkok – Check the equipment.
Singapore to Kuala Lumpur – again – check the equipment.
Singapore to Osaka-Kansai International.
Singapore Airlines will be operating the type in a two-class configuration with 36 Business Class Seats and 301 Economy Class seats.
As usual, when booking flights with brand new equipment (such as the 787-10), be careful in case they decide to do a late equipment swap
As usual – apply caution and logic when booking tickets.

The picture is a rendering of a 777-9 not a 787-10. Very different aircraft.
