If for some bizarre reason you think that getting married in Las Vegas is the best and most romantic idea in the world (for some it may be, me… I prefer… umm… well… moving on), McCarran Airport and The County Clerk’s Office of Las Vegas can help – with a pop-up Wedding Licence Office opening at the airport.

The Pop-up service runs from the 9th February to 17th February, which covers the obvious Valentine’s Day, The Chinese New Year Holidays and Presidents Day.
County Clerk Lynn Goya states:
“The days around Valentine’s Day and Presidents Day weekend are always some of our busiest,”
“This pop-up marriage license office will make it easier for couples flying here to pick up a marriage license.”
The office will be open Las Vegas McCarren Terminal 5 in the baggage claim area between 9am and 5pm between 9th and 17th February. It will only issue marriage licences. The main office in downtown Las Vegas will still be open (and has longer hours between 8am and Midnight).
Once you have licence (costing $77)- you’re free to get hitched. Rules and laws apply – so check before you travel at http://www.clarkcountynv.gov/clerk/Services/pages/MarriageLicenses.aspx.
So if you and your loved one do want to get hitched over the coming few days… and want to do it in a place where you can do all that and gamble the night away… Maybe Las Vegas
Me? Give me a little more romance in the world…
