If it’s a holiday weekend, or if the day ends in a Y, it must be time for another Air France strike… especially on Good Friday.

With another strike effecting pilots, ground staff and cabin crew, and timed for the Easter holiday period in Europe (with requests from the unions for a 6% pay rise), expect just under a quarter of Air France’s flying programme to be affected.
According to Air France:
- 76% of all flights will fly, broken down to
- 80% of long-haul flights operating
- 70% of medium-haul flights to and from Paris Charles de Gaulle
- 80% of short-haul flights to and from Paris-Orly and French provinces
Expect last-minute delays and cancellations to occur. The strike will hit Air France and Joon – whilst HOP! and its codeshare partners will continue to operate flights.
The airline is has opened rebooking options (no matter the fare) at no cost.
Rebooking options are open, however – passengers are advised not to book on the 3rd April – due to another planned strike (and keep the 7th April clear too… that’s another one on the horizon).

As usual on a strike day – plan ahead and check with the airline if your flight is operating. And with the advance dates of further strikes ahead – plan much further than normal.
